I’ve been in the Beth Moore study, Believing God, at church. Last night, I fell into a deep, dreaming sleep. It felt as though I had an encounter with God. The dream left me trembling and still has me shaking a little bit. I have not interpreted it yet, so if you interpret dreams or know someone with the gift of interpretation, I would like to hear your thoughts.
The dream:
Some of my family members and I stood on a mountain top along with other people who were left to fend for their lives. It seemed like the end of time last days type of thing. The winds howled and swirled. The sky thundered and lighted up with lightning. It felt as if a tornado would continually come and go. Each of us took refuge and tried to hide from the winds as they strengthened. People died. The world was rocky and bleak.
At the onset of another storm, my family members and I tried to take refuge, when I looked up and to the east I saw a lion, and I said, “Look! The LION of Judah!” I felt very happy and excited to see Him for I felt salvation was at hand. He in turn made His way directly in front of me and roared with a very loud roaring voice spoken to me, “I have known you since the foundation of the earth.” Then I woke up.
Upon awaking, several things went through my mind:
- I had just been with the Lord and felt His radiant presence.
- Were the trumpets about to sound and the redeemed would be called to heaven?
- I felt unclean like Isaiah, but also clean by the blood of Christ (both at once).
- Fear.
- Finally, praises filled my tongue and mouth, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!”
Even though struck with awe and terror, I felt peaceful in that I was able to go back to sleep with a radiant light ever before me.
Due to this dream, I’ve realized that I know little about “the lion of Judah.” Do you?
I researched “the lion of Judah,” and the verses that spoke to me are these:
“For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them. Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me.” Hosea 5:14-15
“When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. But the more I called Israel, the further they went from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images. It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them.
How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart changed within me; all my compassion aroused. I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I turn and devastate Ephraim. For I am God, and not man — the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath. They will follow the Lord; he will roar like a lion. when he roars, his children will come trembling from the west. They will come trembling like birds from Egypt, like doves from Assyria. I will settle them in their homes, declares the Lord.” Hosea 11:1-4, 8-11.
Because of this dream, I cannot wait to get into my study tonight to see how God speaks.
This is intense! I don’t feel any strong sense of what the interpretation is, but I’ll share my impression. Yes, it appears eschatological on the surface, but, from your description, it was very tangible, very personal, and so I don’t think it’s about the end of the world, unless said event is relatively soon and your family plays a key role in it (which I don’t mean to say that I doubt).
So, alternatively, maybe it is foreshadowing of some advent of Christ in the life of your family in some new way?
Interesting thoughts to ponder. I’m still trying to think about the underlying message.

Having a dream of the Lion of the Tribe Judah is very significant.
For me, all the times He has showed up was not in a dream, but in my place of Prayer and Fellowship with the Holy Spirit at midnight hours. Usually in the times of deep intercession, as I sit on my prayer may before Him with my eyes shut, then He shows up, just sitting beside me.
Other times, He showed up when a massive serpent with a scorpion sting tried to sting me while I sat praying before the LORD and crushed the head of the serpent, then sat there, looked at me and just stayed quiet, as though He was saying to me ‘go ahead with what you are doing I’m here’. Another time, was when I was having a live streaming midnight prayers on my YouTube platform suddenly He showed up sitting beside me. Another time, i was on my prayer altar praying with my eyes shut then I saw 3 witches appear then disappeared, fear was about to fill my heart, just then He showed up again and just looked at me. I understood I was safe and not alone.
**For you, in your dream you were with your family members and others experiencing a lot of storm while standing on a mountain top. Some died as you all tried to find refuge, yet amidst all the LORD opened your eyes to see Him.
NOTE
Whenever you have a dream the FIRST thing to do is, ask the HOLY SPIRIT (not friends or family) to reveal the meaning to you, then open your Bible to study.
This is because, the HOLY SPIRIT is the revealer of secrets, and the Word of God is Truth (however the devil can manipulate God’s words to you giving you wrong interpretation: refering to the scriptures you read, they are wrong)
I believe this is what the LORD wants you to know:
A mountain symbolises a place/position of height, exaltation and Visibility in destiny. In this dream you were all standing on the mountain yet storms/challenges came that challenged that position. In your quest to find refuge/resolve the situation many died. While you and the others still tried to find refuge/solutions, the LORD showed you Mercy by revealing Himself as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and opening your eyes to see Him.
By this the LORD is saying to you: When the LORD exalts you to a place of visibility in destiny the enemy will surely come to contend with what the LORD has given you, when challenges come don’t seek counsel/refuge/solutions from any other because He-the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is with you as your defense and refuge against all storms of the enemy.
Then, He says to you “I HAVE KNOWN YOU SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH”.
1. By this dream the LORD is saying to you that He chose you among all your family members and others for His purpose before you were born, to be established in great position in destiny. But you are never to turn to man or anyone or anything for solution except HIM. Only He who placed you in that position can protect and keep you there, so that the storms that destroy great men/women in destiny will not destroy you when you are at your peak in destiny.
2. Take delight in spending time alone in His presence: in fellowship with Him, His word and worship. In this place you create to be with Him, He will visit you regularly and tell you secrets about your destiny in Him, and give you instructions to guide you in the way you should go (make sure to obey everything).
**Not everything He tells you should you share with others. When He realizes that you are not discreet, He will not reveal deep/precious things to you.
3. He is giving you an invitation to come be alone with Him, build TRUST and confidence in HIM and His WORD. Only the HOLY SPIRIT can reveal your true destiny to you.

In my dream I was walking through a field that was covered in dew. A feeling as if it was the beginning of the world. I went into the woods. There I came upon a ravine that would be hard to cross. Then on the other side was a Lion. It looked at me with a longing in it’s eyes. My ancestry is connected to the Plantagenet line of Kings. They are the unbroken line to the tribe of Judah. I had this dream ten years ago. After this dream the scripture opened up to me. Who we are the people of the west. Other people came forth with the truths that have been hidden. The scepter has been passed from Judah. Judah is not the Jews, it is the true line of Kings and Queens. Not the late Queen Elizabeth. So, the scepter has passed now comes our savior, the King of Kings Jesus.
The Israelite’s are the western people. Israel is the descendants of Jacob.
Hey everyone I seen the lion of judah through sunlight a week before my bday.. So you know how the sunlight comes through your window.. so that happened an I was able to look through the sunlight and seen a lions fur moving through the shape of the sun. But less than a second later the lion of Judah was in front of me, I was able to feel his presence it was so peaceful.. no words can explain the feeling. But the lions fur was like a golden sunlight color.. but Jesus was speaking to my mind and he was telling me to spread the message of what I experienced.. i also think he want all of us to repent to him and have a connection with him and a relationship.. but to also pray to him.. Had a dream i was dying in the flesh and the armor of God (Jesus) was covering up my soul like how iron man suit does.. had a dream i was drowning and started thinking of Jesus name and Jesus saved me.. had a dream of the rapture, many was freaking out but i was waiting patiently on Jesus.. had a dream September 21, & I was sitting down telling someone about how good Jesus is & then we heard a thundering sound.. and some clouds appear then someone came down from the clouds (angel) & remember the angel was talking to someone in front of me but then I was putting on my full armor of God (Jesus)
Had a dream October 4, Jesus saved me from so much harm..
Had a dream October 15, that I was sharing the goodness of Jesus and it was hard for many to believe so Jesus showed me a vision of him doing a miracle that would shock the people.. You know how in the bible Jesus spoke to many people/kings.. Moses for example, Jesus spoke to him on the mountain 🏔 & even in the burning bush🔥🌳.. this dream I had is similar to what Jesus did for Moses ✝.. had many more ✝ Glory to Jesus✝🛐❤.. yall stay in the light of Jesus..
