Dear You,
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know if you are one or many. But I know that you prayed for me. I don’t know how long you prayed for me or even how long or what exactly you prayed for me, but I know that you prayed for me. Your prayers for me and over me changed my life. I felt stuck, not quite out of the dark and murky mire. You either saw that or knew that I needed a new fresh revelation of grace in my life that only the Father gives. And if it was not you, it was definitely Jesus.
I sat across that table from a friend. She and I discussed this new grace, and we both immediately wondered who had prayed for us. These last two years, I never thanked you. And as I feel drawn into a deeper place of grace and time of prayer, I need to thank you desperately. Your prayers were a balm to my weary soul. Thank you for praying. And Lord, thank you for answering!
In my mind you prayed Ephesians 1:16 – 18 or something like it over me:
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength
In turn, I pray the same over you. That you may know him better and know the hope to which he called you. Whether you prayed this exactly, I cannot know, but I am grateful to know Him better and to cling more fully to the hope that He called me to.
With a deep and sincere gratitude, your sister in Christ,
Jamie 🙂

There is something that escapes words about knowing that others, unknown to us, are praying for us. Thank you for the gratitude. I am grateful to you & others, as well.
