For Five Minute Friday: Empty
Words that have no meaning.
Women who feel lost and purposeless.
Anyone who does not spend time in the Word.
People who’ve never been filled with the Spirit.
Feeling all alone.
In Despair. Hopeless.
empty
A mother who dresses and cleans and cares even while in need herself.
A teacher full of the Word who pours it out faithfully.
A friend who decides to listen in spite of her own inner turmoil.
A wife who submits until she has nothing to give.
Hope for the filling.
Giving it all away.
Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” Leviticus 3:22-24

All the ways we empty ourselves as moms, wives, co-workers, women…. I can’t imagine taking another breath without our ‘Portion’
