Day 5: grace, a poem
Me
Dirty, enslaved, not whole
unaccepted, alone
He
Jesus: perfect and free
dying, covering me
We
grace, grace, glorious grace,
turning me to His face.
Now favored always,
my work is to believe.
Together: accepted,
whole and clean, unconstrained
Yet tethered and shackled
to God’s love, forevermore.

Simply beautiful. I love the progression…from Me to He to We. Oh, that I would remember my only work is to believe. All is grace. It cannot be earned, only received.
Blessings,
K

This is beautiful. Where would I be without Him?
Jamie says
Thank you, Barbie. I cannot even imagine when I would be without Him. BTW, today’s artwork is beautiful (day 9) – I will leave you a comment at your place too.
